The story
The warmth of the onsen still lingers on your skin as you step into the changing room.
At the other end, a mother is dressing her child, finishing with a gentle dusting of powder. A soft, sweet scent fills the air — familiar in a way you can’t quite explain.
Then you remember.
The scent of childhood, of being looked after, of your mother getting you ready for the night.
Some memories never really leave us.
How to use
- Trim the wick to about 6mm before every burn.
- On the first burn, let the wax melt close to the edge (within 4 hours).
- Burn in still air, away from drafts, vents and fans.
- Burn no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop when about 1cm of wax remains.
Details
Hand-poured in small batches in Singapore with coconut, soy and beeswax, fragrance and essential oils. 275g (10oz), approx. 55-hour burn.
Handcrafted ceramic vessel, approx. 10.5cm wide × 8cm high. Each one is made by hand, so its size, shape and glaze vary slightly and no two are alike.
Give your vessel a second life:
- Once cooled, scrape out the leftover wax and wick with a spoon (avoid knives).
- Throw the wax in the trash, never down the sink.
- Soak in hot, soapy water, then wash, rinse and dry.
- Use it as a planter, pen holder or keepsake.

Safety & storage
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable.
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- In humid weather your candle may sweat a little; simply wipe it dry before lighting.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
